LeBron "The King" James is a 24 year old basketball phenomenon for the Cleveland Cavaliers. As a 6th season player with the experience of a veteran, he has achieved more than most players do in an entire career. Often compared to Michael Jordan, James has been criticized for being overrated because he has yet to lead the Cavaliers to a championship.
The Cavaliers have become a very tight-knit team, especially during the 2008-2009 season. They have become well known for their pre-game rituals. Included in these rituals are player salutes, mock baseball games with LeBron pretending to video record the batter hitting a homerun, and most recently a "family portrait" in which LeBron is the photographer capturing several poses of his teammates bunched together.
James has had an interesting road to success. Many of his achievements began before high school. The lives of LeBron James and his high school teammates was filmed to create the yet to be released documentary, More Than A Game. The movie will depict an interesting view of life for James and teammates on and off the court.
Loved or hated, LeBron James will undoubtedly continue to succeed in the NBA. It can be argued which player is truly the best, but it is very difficult to deny LeBron's impact on the game.
